About Cystic Fibrosis in Montana
Newborn Screening
As of January 17, 2008, Montana, became the 37th state to require cystic fibrosis screening for all newborns. Â Information is available at www.newborn.hhs.mt.gov.Â
Cystic Fibrosis Clinics
Those with CF can attend a quarterly clinic and meet with a pulmonologist, a nurse, a respiratory therapist, a nutritionist, and a social worker. The pediatric clinics are held in Billings (866-822-1411), Great Falls (800-421-1649), and Missoula (888-506-9366). Â
